Green River Fly Fishing Report

April 22nd, 2014

The Green River is fishing incredible with blanket BWO hatches mid day.  There are great Midge hatches in the mornings, that present great dry fly opportunities as well.   BWO's are hatching best on cloudy days, and big dry flies are producing some fish on sunny days.

The nymph fishing continues to be excellent with a 9 foot deep rig working best in the mornings and shallower rigs fish well when the fish start to move around in the water column chasing the emerging BWO's.

Streamer fishing on the lower river is excellent as well, but not as effective when it is sunny.
