Green River Fly Fishing Report - September 6, 2011

The Green River is running at a daily average of 2,500cfs.  The dry fly fishing is awesome with hopper patterns, chernobyl ants, beetles and sailor ants.  There are some size #20 Psuedocleon mayflies hatching on cloudy days.  All 3 sections are fishing great!

Water Condition: clear

Water Flows:  2,500 cfs - average

Hatches: Terrestrials, Caddis, Psuedocleon Mayflies #20 (similar to BWO's)

Best Times: 8am - 4pm
Dry Fly - 8am - 4pm
Streamer - low light conditions
Nymph - 9am - 3pm

Dry Fly: Dries are fishing great all day. 
Patterns: Morishes Hopper #10-12 yellow, tan
Triple Double black, purple #10-16
Fat Albert tan, black #10-12
