Green River Fly Fishing Report - September 17, 2017

The fishing on the Green River has been hit or miss - somedays are great while others are very tough.  If you can take advantage of your opportunities you can hold some really nice trout!  The weather is cooling down & seems to be the biggest factor out there - when the storms come in the fish get unhappy.  Small grey nymphs, Grasshoppers, ants, beetles, and crickets are fishing best.  The Trico and Psuedocleon (small BWO) hatches are in full swing - bring your A+ game as the fish are casually sipping size #24 dries.  Highly skilled anglers have a huge advantage out there.

The Green River flows are currently averaging 2,400cfs (1,400 - 3,000 daily).

We still have several dates available October through December.
