Green River Fly Fishing Report - April 1, 2012

The Green River is fishing very well with midges in the morning and BWO's in the afternoon. There are good Blue Wing Olive hatches coming off on cloudy days. The blue wings are thickest on the upper B section, and lower A section in the afternoon. Try fishing a Parachute Adams size #18-20 with another fly 18 inches behind it. Nymphing has been very productive - especially on the upper A section, and upper B section. Red Creek is running, so visibility on the C section and lower B section is limited - streamers are fishing very well on the lower 1/2 of the river.
